Our beloved literary salon is back... HOLIDAY PARTY STYLE. some holiday festivities, cookie exchange (bring cookies, get cookies, duh), annnndddd: finally: it's a book swap! bring your gently read books and we'll be trading our beloveds for some new reads. our night then progresses into candlelit reading in cozy reading nooks and ends with book sharing, discussion and wassail (or like whatever holiday mocktails we can concoct). DONATIONS ARE WELCOME to offset the cost of treats and snacks for this community event. 🎄📚🍪

When we say yoga is for everyone, this class is what we mean: a relaxed environment that’s about tuning in, understanding the mechanics of movement, and connecting to the self. A steady, alignment based practice - lots of insightful instruction, specific movement, cueing, and limited flowing from pose to pose, oftentimes with a theme to convert complex philosophy into easy to practice everyday wisdom.

Expect: Class begins with a gradual warm-up to ready the body for larger shapes that are held for longer so they can be explained and experienced in the body. This class often has a guiding principle or idea to connect the practice to yoga philosophy and other limbs of yoga. Class will often also have breathwork, some short meditation, and encourages the use of props to support the different shapes made with the body. Some light upbeat music to no music, always with the breath being the primary focus.

Perfect for: beginners, newbies, former ashtangis, alignment lovers, anyone with mobility issues who might need more time with props, instruction, and options to modify. Experienced practitioners will still find lots of options and opportunities to enhance their own practice.

Creative, flowy sequences that change from week to week to prepare you for deep rest, with a meaningful idea or theme to guide class, music that sets the vibe, and a heaping dose of soothing, healing, and grounding poses for deep relaxation and nervous system chilling. Perfect for: yogis that need a chance to practice self-care, but do it best after a good sweat. Students looking to move their bodies so they can fully rest. Great for all types of students, especially those who love to move, but have trouble slowing down and need some help to get there. Expect: move from head to toe, enough challenge to build a sweat, and lots of yin and restorative with props galore. This class has a backdrop of music that sets the vibe, ranging from ambient to top hits to alt to traditional yoga jams.
